Eduardo Azuma Nishi é mestre em Direito Comercial pela PUC-SP, atualmente é desembargador do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de São Paulo.

Possui graduação em Direito pela Universidade de São Paulo (1983) e Administração de Empresas pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas – SP (EAESP). Mestre em Direito Comercial pela PUC-SP, atualmente é desembargador do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de São Paulo. Tem experiência na área de Direito, Administração, com ênfase em Direito Empresarial.

Diretora do Departamento de Propriedade Intelectual das Américas da HUAWEI.

Ingressou na HUAWEI em 2012.

Dedica-se há mais de dez anos ao trabalho com patentes essenciais ao padrão (SEPs) no âmbito do 3GPP.

Recebeu em 2017 o Prêmio de Mérito Judiciário pelo Tribunal de Justiça do Rio de Janeiro por contribuição ao aprimoramento do Poder Judiciário e à Comunidade Jurídica e em 2015 a Comenda da Ordem do Poder Judiciário concedida pelo Tribunal Regional Federal da 2ª Região em matéria trabalhista.

Recipient in 2017 of the Award of Judicial Merit by the Court of Appeals of Rio de Janeiro for contribution to the improvement of the Judiciary Power and to the Legal Community and 2015 Commendation (Comendador) of the Order of the Judiciary Power awarded by the Federal Court of Appeals on Labor Matters – 2nd Region.
